Our speed boat snorkel trip is a combination between the typical island hopping experience and professional snorkeling, except that you don’t have to sit in a noisy, overcrowded pump boat to be herded around and you get a chance to be the first and only visitor on the island we start our trip on. Snorkeling is a must-do experience in Siargao for everyone who is not afraid of water and even for beginners and non-swimmer (with life vests). Skip the murky water at the beach and come with us to a breathtaking reef.

We start our snorkel tour with an early visit to Guyam island, where we are normally the first boat to arrive every morning but we are also offering an afternoon option if you are not an early bird. We will then head out to a beautiful reef that features a big variety of corals. In that large reef, we will have the chance to observe countless colorful fish, such as clownfishes (Nemo) living in their anemone, tangs, puffer fish and often unexpected and exciting surprises. Every visit at the reef is completely different and there is always something interesting to see if you know where to look.

As on all our tours, we will make sure to take pictures of you, even underwater, so you have memories to take home.

The Reef we visit on this tour is beautiful, but if you want us to take you to the best reef around this side of the island, we highly recommend booking the Premium Island Hopping Tour, which includes the most amazing reef for snorkeling and there is also a lower chance of encountering jellyfish, as this other reef is better protected.

Requirements

Must be physically fit to be able to get in and out of the boat from the water without help.
Must be comfortable in the water. For non-swimmers we are using life vests for snorkeling, so you can enjoy the underwater world too.

What to bring?

Long sleeve rash guard for snorkeling would be recommended and a hat for the sun.
One towel for the group and any additional snacks or drinks you want to bring.
